Hubble

Hubble Protocol is a next-generation, censorship resistant decentralized finance (DeFi) yield platform built on the Solana blockchain. Users can borrow its native stablecoin - USDH - interest-free using a range of digital assets as collateral. These then earn interest as USDH can be deployed into further income bearing opportunities throughout the Solana ecosystem.
The problem
A relatively unknown project on a new blockchain, Hubble Protocol needed to raise the profile and credibility of their platform and founder ahead of a major product launch. Traditional finance media was a key target for this, with Hubble feeling “quality was more important than quantity” in the approach.
The solution
Focussing on the core offering, Block3 PR devised a strategy targeting mainstream media and wealth publications that would be open to innovative income strategies. We also worked closely with the founder to coach him on media relations, ensuring he was ready and available to speak to breaking news and emerging trends. Leveraging contacts in the press and key influencers, we made sure Hubble’s launch of Kamino Finance was seen and recognized among all key audiences.
The result
In the three months following engagement with Block3 PR Hubble saw its editorial audience reach increase by close to 15%. More importantly, we secured the tier 1 coverage the team engaged us to capture. Hubble was featured in The Wall Street Journal, CoinDesk, CoinTelegraph, The Street, Benzinga and more. Founder Marius Ciubotariu also appeared on podcasts including Crypto Pulse and Brave New Coin, and spoke at events like Devcon and Crypto Del Caribe in Latin America - a target growth market. This has translated into 170% growth in new users per month, while the launch of its new product Kamino Finance attracted $5m in TVL and $11m in volume in less than 2 months.
